Fatafat Review - Golimaar

One down in my movie list....

Cast: GopiChand, Priyamani, Nasser, Roja, Shawar Ali, Kelly Dorji
Music: Chakri
Producer: Bellamkonda Suresh
Story - Screenplay - Dialogues - Direction: Puri Jagannath

Puri Jagannath and Gopichand's 'Golimaar', based on Mumbai encounter specialist DayaNayak's life is decent watch. Nothing new to offer though(Mixed bag of concepts n scenes in Puri's old movies).... Puri succeeded in presenting the age old cop concept in entertaining way. May find coincidences with Ramu N Shimit Amin's Ab tak Chappan and Gautam Menon's Kaaka Kaaka(Tamil) and Gharshana(Telugu) but the presentation is different from the originals.

Everybody contributed well(both on screen N off screen). Puri's dialogues makes the movie must watch. Few dialogues in climax, pre interval and some important scenes are really awesome.... Trademark puri style.

Chakri's music may not be a table topper but contributes well to the requirements of movie. Background score is decent.

Gopichand N Priyamani are best fit for their roles. Loved Priyamani's own dubbing voice. Roja came up with sterling performance after a long gap(Saw her in recently released 'Shambho Shiva Shambho' also produced by BellamKonda Suresh. Performance in stands out).

Cinematography and other technical aspects are good and it's a technically well made movie. We need to appreciate producer for that.

Will become a box office hit. Go watch it in leisure!

Rating: 7 out of 10

More to go..... Vedam, Rajneeti coming up next week.
Raavan, Raktha Charitra in June!!
